SAP IDM 8.0 Eclipes Login Error

Hi Friends,

i have installed clean IDM SP1 and found that some configuration is changed.

so now i am able to login.

Hi Mohinder,

Could you please tell me what is this patch "IDM_CLM_REST_API" used for?

I am planning to install IDM 8.0 but seems this is not a part of SAP IDM 8.0 installation File.

Please guide me, where to get this or it is already inbuild with IDM 8.0 Addon.

Hi Mohinder,

There login scheme was changed between IDM 8.0 SP0 and SP1. The behaviour you're seeing looks like using an old DevStudio to connect to an updated REST service. Please check that you have updated both your IDM_CLM_REST_API server component (DevStudio REST service SCA) and Eclipse plug-ins (should be latest version available from SAP's updatesite).

Yes its SSL its working Before Upgrade

Run through the installation steps again.  Something is configured incorrectly.

also I am thinking about IDM 7.2 is that is working fine in Linux ?

You could compare the two dispatcher configurations.  Sometime DOS elements have been known to seep into the LINUX dispatcher
