SAP PI FEATURE

Hi All,

We have been asked a query on Sap PI.

Data will be maintained in Sap ECC tables.

Depending on certain values can SAP PI pull data directly from these table. There will be no jobs or anything that will trigger data to PI but instead PI will have to pull it based on changes made in tables.

Do we have any such feature be it API/GATEWAY or anything of that sort in any of the current versions.

We need to check if it is possible to pull data from SAP HR). In our case ECC sends data to PI in form of proxies. The idea is instead of tweaking the code in SAP ECC the data be directly pulled from SAP ECC using PI i.e. the entire configuration to Pull data from ECC should be in PI. Accept only the changes made in table and reject the previously sent data.

Can we achieve this using PO or any adapter?

Instead of doing of doing in PI,Why cant you have small proxy code of RFC that can trigger the data from tables based on value changes?

How would PI "know" that the data has been changed to pull it?
