Diagnostics Agent installation in managed system

Dear Team,

We need to configured managed system for R/3 production server in solution manager.

Our requirement :

Need to install diagnosis agent in managed system(R/3 Production server).

But R/3 PRoduction server is in cluster environment and having 6 application server with operating system Hp-unix.

Please suggest how to install diagnosis agent in R/3 prd server?

for those scenarios we have so called agents on the fly.

Hello IMRAN,

Yes. You can see details of installing agents on Portal system in AgentInstallationGuide.pdf that is attached to note 1365123. slide 6.

so your CI, DI and Java Central Services all need an agent

I have installed diagnosis agent and host agent on ci ,di and java central services of portal production server

So we need to  maintain portal production server(java) in managed configuration for all steps need to be green to generate EWA for portal prd?

Hello IMRAN,

Yes, As long as you will finish managed system configuration the workload data will be generated and you will be able to generate EWA report.
