Hi Experts,
How can i put two prices for same materials based on the Unit of Measure. Eg. Selling price for Material A = $ 1/PCE and $ 5/CT. On same pricing table I have to put 2 prices. Currently the system is not accepting. When I put the new price old price is removing automatically.
Please advise...
Christine
Hi Christine,
Why dont you maintain scales for the product that you have mentioned .Like
quantity amount
1 1$
6 5/6(approx0.83)
I guess this should solve your problem. Please let me know whether its working or not

Hi,
U cannot maintain two records for base unit and sale unit seperatly for the same material, u maintain condition record with base unit, during sales order processing the system cummulate the value with sale unit.

Hi Christine,
What I understand from your question is that you have material A. If a customer orders 1 PEC you will price it as $1. If he buys a CT then you price $ 5 per CT. For this you can use the UOM conversion in the material master. 1 CT = X PEC. This will automatically take care of your requirement.
PLz reward if helpful.
Thanks

Hi Mukund,
Thanks for the reply. UoM conversion in the material master will not work. System is not accepting 2 prices. UoM Conversion is 1 CT = 6 PEC. Selling price for one 1 CT = $ 5. Selling price for one PEC = $ 1.If I give the selling price for 1 CT = $ 5 then system is automatically dividing that amount by UoM. So the selling price 1 PEC is coming as $ 0.83 automatically which is not correct. If a customer buying only one PEC then the price should be $ 1.
Christine.
Christine,
You are right. Well the other alternate solution could be as follows
Maintain PEC as base UOM for this material
Have a conversion rule from PEC to CT in material master
Maintain condition records for base UOM (1$per PEC)
Add a discount condition type and create a routine (Requirement) which makes this condition type active only when the order is placed in CT and also create another routine (Alt calculation type) to have the prices reduced to the requirement.
This might make sense if this is the only requirements. If there are several other
requirements along the same lines then we have to think about another solution.
Let me know if this helps
Thanks

Hi Mukund,
I need this requirement for the Wholesale Solution. As you know so many materials is there having the same condition. (2 open selling price based on UoM and which will not match with the UoM conversion).
This is a simple requirement from the customer and I don't know how to customize it. Materials selling price is changing every now and then. They have so many material like this....!!!
Thanks
Christine
Hi,
You can not have two condition type as prices for same materia.
In this case system checks the condition class as B in condition type control. And if it find two of them then it will deactivate the earlier one. This is standard SAP.
