Hi Team,
Please let me know how to perform production publish of work manager 5.3 application in standalone work manager server without using SMP 23. and SMP 3.0.
Kindly assist on this.
Thanks,
Sandeep Aluri.
Sandeep,
SAP Work Manager 5.3 is an application and Agentry 6.0, SMP 2.3 and SMP 3.0 is a platform.
Originally Work Manager 5.3 came with Agentry 6.0.22 . This was run as a stand alone server.
To answer your question,
1) Agentry 6.0 Server was run as a stand alone server but as of now it is officially out of maintenance.
2) SMP 2.3 has a development independent Agentry Server , which can be run as stand alone .
But this is only for testing not for use in production.
3) SMP 3.0 cannot be run as a stand alone but is current platform for mobility.
Thanks

Hi Subash,
Can you please elaborate me how the production publish and version maintenance is done in agentry 6.0 standalone server.
When we do production publish in SMP 3.0 for agentry application prod.ini file is used for version maintenance.
What is mechanism used to do production publish in standalone agentry 6.0 server.
Agentry 6, will no longer get any updates or any help from support as it is out of maintance.
To do a production publish with Agentry 6. using an Agentry 6 editor you select a production publish and select the production server. The editor will create a *.agpz and *.ini file for that version that will be loaded by the server.
The prod.ini is file that used with the production version for the version number. it is not what controls the version number.
SMP 3, doens't have a "Stand-alone" Agentry Server like Agentry 6.0 was, but it has been incropated into the whole SMP Server.
SMP 2.3, while there is a "Stand-alone" installer for the Agentry Server, this is for Development reasons only. QA\Production, need to be the SMP 2.3 Server.
For each version, you would need to load your application into the Editor, and then publish to your server (or config folder)

Sandeep,
To publish production version of application you have to use eclipse. from eclipse you can directly publish production version of application to wm5.3 server.
Thanks
