RFC System Exceptio: Number range 02 is full

Hello Experts,

We are facing issue with creating folders of document type FOL.

Initial the number range was 999 and after it was consumed we have extended the number range to 9999.

While creating New folder of document type FOL, the new folder should have got assigned to number 1000 but ..we are getting as

RFC System Exceptio: Number range 02 is full.

We are on SAP_APPL SAPKH61709

I have checked SAP notes:-

2161711 - Problems with Number assignment and number ranges.

2146302 - Problems with Number assignment 1 in DC10 transaction.

and cannot be implemented in SAP system.

Please advise.

How does SNRO tcode values look like presently for DOKUMENT..

can you manually set NR Status to 1000 for your number range..

That worked. able to create folders with document type FOL.

Does it impact if we change NR status to 1000 with respect folders created earlier?

I dont see any impact..

Number range is used only for create operation and read will go to tables for existing records

Try this correction notes mentioned in the notes. This notes may need an technical help.

and correction note number 0001519541

The correction notes are as per your system package.

This note cannot be implemented. As i stated i have already verified this note.

The original issue screenshot while creating folder of document type FOL.

In ST22 there is no dump.

Please advise.

Hi Anand,

Implementation of few notes will be changing the code manually and transporting through TR, This note may be one among such notes. You can show this notes to technical consultant they may help you in this regards.

I am the technical guy and i have verified the code suggested in above mentioned SAP notes.

As we are on SAP_APPL SAPKH61709 this code changes are already in place.

I have manually checked each line too.

You can try an alternate solution create 1000 - 9999 with number range XX and assign to document type FOL.

I can do that but my question.

What will happen with previously created folders.

System will not identify folder created between 1 to 999. as new number range 1000 to 9999.

Have you tried that i should not restrict your previously created folders.

System will give both folders ranges from 1-999 and 1000 - 9999.
