SOAP: Response message contains an errorXIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 500 Server Error

Hello All,

We are facing one issue while account details from SAP ECC to SFDC via SAP PO through SOAP Adapter.

Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection IDoc_AAE_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: SOAP: Response message contains an errorXIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 500 Server Error

We are receiving above error only for sometimes for few accounts.

Could you please suggest me what is the solution for this?

Hello Riya,

check whether all the services and target SFDC is up and running.

if still persists, try configuring new channel.

All the services are running properly that is why some messages are going properly.

Is the number of messages going through this interface are large in number? or multiple calls happening at the same time.

You can ask basis team to look for tuning parameters to work on number of threads for soap, Max no. of thread by default is 5.

It can also happen that some intermittent connection issue will be happening not all the time but few times which will cause only few message to fail randomly.
