What is "Reading Type" in SLT?

Hi Experts,

Thanks for your many posts and doubts about many performance issues faced in SLT replication to HANA. I could able to follow many and helped me lot for limiting init load data as well with some transformation.

But My basic question about Reading Type making confusion about the data.

As per operations guide,

Reading Type: A technique for reading data from tables in the target system during the initial load process.

Is it data from tables in Target system or Source System?.

If its still Target table, could you please explain me better.

I am pretty certain that only refers to the source system tables 🙂

Probably a documentation mistake.
