Hi Friends,

Indeed your responses were helpful.

I'm back with a new question regarding SAP XI 7.0 version.

1. How is it different from XI 3.0

2. What are new features, enhancements and advantages of XI 7.0

We aretrying to upgrade our XI installation from 3.0 to 7.0.

How to go ahead this.

Please provide me some good blogs, pdfs or ppts or ebook, which can help achieve the same.

HI,

Both are same , but some enhancements in PI7 / XI7.0 .

for example in SLD changed the look and procedure.

similarly enhanced features like CC , we can have scheduling .

Hi Younus,

My knowledge about XI/PI 7.0 is

1) Payload can be edited in the runtime workbench.

2) A background job can be scheduled i.3 rules can be defiend for a particular interface

One feature ( have not explored it ) which i read on the forums was somehting called Faulty File handling where tje validatio of the source files is done and if it does not match then the file is sent to a faulty file folder.

Have not heard much / explored this though.
