Reading Resource from Order reservations in PPDS

Hi

We have a requirement to read resource on which the demand is and while creating order system should check the resource and create the order.We have a table in which we have maintained the resource links so heuristics should consider the links while choosing the PDS at assembly level and create the order

We have to identify the order reservations and dependent demand which is coming from FG and resource in which the demand is.Is there a FM or BAPI though which we can directly read the resource from dependent orders or reservations.

Hi Debasis

You can use resource network to identify which resource to be used in creation of order. You can pass on this resource during creation of order using standard FM for order creation. This will require development. If you are using alternate resources in PDS/PPM then you should build a logic in identifying the right pds and right resource using resource network. Hopefully this should solve your issue.
