Material GRN issue in order against reservation

Hello Experts,

Please let me how can i resolve below issue.

Against maintenance order assign material in background reservation no. is created but when we do MIGO its through error.

Document 000112 does not contain any selectable item

message no. M7064

Release the order and try your goods issue again. Chances are your system is configured to not activate the reservation until the order is released.

Hi Paul,

Sorry for the interruption for above query.

Now once maintenance order is released then its allow to post the material.

But our client want that once maintenance order is created and assigned a material then reservation no. is created OK before release of maintenance order

is there any possible to posting material against same reservation ?

If any configuration is required please let me know.

Follow this path in the IMG (transaction SMOD):

Plant Maintenance and Customer Service

...Maintenance and Service Orders

......Functions and Settings for Order Types

.........Define Change Documents, Collective Purchase Requisition, MRP relevance

Select your plant/order type combination and for the column "Res/PurRq" ("Reservation Relevance/General of Purchase Requisition") select option 3 ("Immediately"). This will activate reservations even if the order is not yet released.

See that mistake. The box next to Reservation number is left blank. You need to give the Reservation item number here. In my picture it is the 2nd arrow. (You will find this number next to Reservation number in the Order components tab).

You have to Release the Order. Now it is clear that the error you are getting is because the Order is not Released.
