Regarding Dynamic Binning Strategy

Hi All

I have a Scenario where my client want to putaway material using dynamic binning but he want to fix 6 bins per storage type.

Example : Client is receiving 100 qty and this qty will get filled in six bins which system will assign automatically (It is possible thru Fixed Bin Strategy using Automatic Bin Selection) and whenever material will be removed from those six bins then system will use these six bins again  for different products (As standard sap says, if bin is fixed for one part then it can not be used for another part).System can not use these bins for other part.

Do we have any solution for this problem.

Can you please let me know the settings how can the system delete fixed bin assignment automatically when bin is empty.

I don't want to use six bin together.

Hi,

in customizing: Extended Warehouse Management --> Goods Receipt Process --> Strategies --> Delete Fixed Bin Assignment. I think the table is self explanatory. The tricky part is that it is under Goods Receipt (where we set up something which concerns goods issue)

Hi,

well, in EWM you can set up the system so that the fixed bin assignment is deleted once the bin is empty. So the bin can be used for another material. But of course this will not mean that always the same 6 bins are used together.
