Catalog Profile Assignmnent

Team,

i have created catalog code groups and codes and assigned them to a catalog profile. but when i am closing the the PM notification, the particular code group is not being seen. what could be the issue?

Hello Mutale,

It is possibly because the Equipment (or F/Locn) on which the Notification has been made, is not having this Catalog Profile (which you are talking about) in its masterdata (Organisation Tab). Once you put that, it will be seen.

So, first verify the above.

  • If the catalog profile is different or blank in Equipment, then correct it.
  • Come back to Notification, Right click on Equipment and click on Update reference object data.
  • Now you will be able to see your code groups.

If the issue is different please explain in detail.

Hi Mutale,

Please maintain the catalog code group under the catalog A (Belongs to PM) in QS41 Transaction code. similarly while creating maintenance notification you can be able to select these code groups as well as codes in the item tab
