Parallel Jobs for Cluster Replication/Initial Load defined - but only one Job in SM37

Hello SLT Gurus,

I went thru Tobias's guide to enable parallel processing

for KONV table.

No. of Parallel Job 5

Seq. Number 20

Reading Type 4 INDX Cluster (Import from DB)

Our SLT is on the same box as the ECC. DMIS 2011_1_700 SP6

I also started via MWBMON several access plan calculation jobs.
(as described in the guide).

However, in SM37 I just see only one job for KONV

/1LT/MWB_CALCSACP_003_Z_KONV_003

I expected to see several.

Also ltrc shows as processing mode - Single Processing / but MaxPI Jobs show 5 (different to all others so config here seems to be set).

Some guidance what to check and how to fix?

Or will it run single mode for a while and then switch to parallel (as one thread indicated)?

Yes, parallelism does not kick off immediately. When you add the table to replication , first there is one Calc job run which you can see. if you see in ECC, you see similar background job /1LT/MWB_DL_<Table Name>. This job runs for a while depending on the table size ( I have mine running for two hours for JVSO1 ).

Once this is completed, then you will see parallel jobs kick off for the table in both SLT and ECC systems. Make sure you have enough free work processes.

Hi,

Initially it would run on a single mode for a while and then it will switch over to parallel processing mode.

Please hold on for a while and monitor it.
