how to Retrieve undelying table and column data for report elements

I Was wondering if there is a way to retrieve , given a particular object in a report -with object id from data provider - what physical table and cell that value comes from using rest. I can see the whole query for the dataprovider in the /dataproviders/123/specification method but how do I know which values were populated from which table / column from the query?

I'm not sure to fully understand.

Is this something like you have an object id (let's say for example "DP0.DO31"), and you want to know which report elements are using it?

Sorry for the confusion but no. Lets say there is an object DPO.DO31.

I want to know the undderlying database table and column from which the value for that object is retrieved.

Hello Martin,

It is not possible to get underlying database structure since the primary goal of the Semantic Layer is to abstract the underlying datasource.
