Hi
We are facing an strange issue on BPC 10.1 SP 7, in BPC we have one Model for Maintenance Planning. But when we check the BW system, it is showing 2 info cubes for Maintenance Planning.
This situation is not happening with any other model.
Please suggest the way forward.
Regards
Hi Saad,
There are few scenarios like full optimization where new cube is created and then old cube is deleted but sometimes due to some error this old cube is not deleted and both cubes remain in the system.
I had faced this issue earlier. you may go to table UJA_APPL in SE11.
This table gives a mapping of Environment, cube and multiprovider. You can check with the technical name of the cube which is used in the multiprovider and you can delete the unused cube from RSA1 directly. Hope this helps.

Hello,
Have you had any issues during a transport or any other operation that that could create new cube? I remember this issue from a few years back when full optimize in BPC 7.5 created a new cube but before finishing it failed. The customer did another optimize and it finished. However, the customer ended up with two cubes, but only one was in the multiprovider and being used.
You might have a similar situation. Check which cube is being used in the multiprovider. You have to also check all the tables containing environment and model information, to make sure the correct technical names are recorded.

Hi Saad Baig
You made any modifications within the model? If so, you should validate the transaction SPRO that the model has the parameter ENABLE_FIXED_CUBENAME. When modifying a model structure on one system or through transport, or running full optimization on the model, the technical name of the corresponding InfoCube will be changed. The model is duplicated.
If you do not have this active parameter, the model is duplicated
