Hi All,
We have activated deal registration for partners using partner channel management.
I would like to know what the difference is between Leads & Deal registration.
When do you use one or the other?

Primarily there is not much deference between leads and deals from a sales process perspective .
In many organizations leads are created by internal sales reps and deal registration is used by partners . Partners competing for similar business submit there deals and the brand owner can then decide which partner should be awarded.
We in SAP Cloud for Customer deliver deal registration transaction which can be used by partners to register there business with the brand owner. We have also delivered a grouping feature which will help the brand owner to view deals which are submitted for the same customer . The brand owner can then decide which partner should be awarded and then convert this deal to an opportunity.
