Hi All,
We have activated deal registration for partners using partner channel management.
I would like to know what the difference is between Leads & Deal registration.
When do you use one or the other?

In my opinion, Lead generates the opportunity i.e. the possible deal.
In terms of information, Deal registraion has resemblance with Leads, however it has additional features dedicated to channel partners such as resellers, service providers and distributors.
Deal registration is nothing but a pre-qualified lead to channel partners. It means channel partners can submit the deal and can provide the additional information by means of answering short questionnaires. ( In Activity List - Deal Registration, you can set the questionnaires).
Partners submit this information with prospective deal. It helps to get valuable information to to finalize the deals.So for channel partners, deal registration is very important feature and can't compare with leads.
