MA Id modication(numbering table)

Hi Experts,

We are in Sourcing 10.0.

We have one business requirement to modify Master Agreement Id.

Currently we are using Default  Numbering Table Definition of MA.

Prefix:  MA-

Prefix(or Suffix): -<%ABBREV_NAME%>-<%YYYY%>

Client wants to add custom extension field value which user selects while creating MA.

It should be like:   MA-fieldvale-012--2015

Can anyone help me on this , is this achievable, If yes, please help!!

I have checked no IAPI's are available for numbering_table(505).

Customized numbering tables can be setup but you are limited to the tokens available.  Also, the numbering scheme size can be changed but be careful that the number of documents that can be produced for the time period is sufficient.  You can check the online help for the available tokens. This is not something that can be based on a custom field.

Hi Geetika,

The token <%ABBREV_NAME> is a filed that comes in from the COMPANY object. You can add the text there (in company) and you can generate the MA Id's.
