How to stop new version generation of the document?

Hi,

I have to Mark document as a old document or obsolete document  how could i define document as a old document.and once user define/Mark the document as a old document version generation of that document should not be possible in future.

any one cannot create the new version of document. how could i achieve this in sap DMS.

Hi Aniruddha,

Can you make your query more clear. The Subject Line tell thats you need to terminate the Version Management , but the content tells that you need to make the old documents obselete when a new version of the document is created.

So please tell me what is the requirement of your business.

Hi,

Try arching the expected document version increment may effect,

Else you may need to set the deletion flag and check the flag for latest version in create BAPI / before save.
