Order confirmed qty more than order qty

Hi Experts

We are facing issue that user had Ordered 40 pieces of one product .

One sub line item was confirmed with 36 pieces & the other sub line item was confirmed with 40 pieces

So in total it confirmed qty of 76 pieces

How can this be?

I have no idea which screen you are displaying.

Lets start with this.  What kind of order are you talking about, and what transaction are you executing to perform the confirmations?

This is CRM Order which i am talking about

Transaction used is CRMD_Order

ATP Check happening in CRM Order line items

The way you explain the issue I think no one be able to figure out what exactly you are doing. Could you elaborate with right screen shots and in sequence what you are doing and expecting (along with transaction).

Well, this can happen if you had setup the substitution between products whose BUoM is different with each other and your Sales UoM in the order for the main item is one of the above.

Well, in the original question - you mentioned the below. So, my reply was specific to the below.

In case if you're seeing confirmed quantity as greater than the ordered quantity on a normal line item where substitution is not involved, the issue could be different. But, I am very sure that confirmed quantity can get calculated as a higher value than the ordered quantity if you setup substitution between different BUoMs that are not compatible.

HI HARSH,

I was just trying to know the above mentioned details as in my earlier experience in a system using CTP the ordered quantity was 100 KG the confirmed quantity was 120 KGS it was for first line item for the next line item the ordered quantity was 75 KG and the confirmed quantity was set to 55 KG , on running the Interactive heuristic the confirmed value and ordered value matched. This takes place if the temporary requirement which gets triggered while performing GATP,  if was not eliminated from the system this type of issue may arise.

I was just trying to link this to your current problem.
