A external TMS is going to send us an idoc (SHPMNT06 type) in order to create and update shipments in SAP.
The external TMS generates his own shipment number that is going to be stored in a field in the SAP shipment at the header level, in order to link between the shipment number in SAP and the external shipment number.
I have 3 questions, once the shipment is created, if we need to update the shipment :
1) The external TMS, that is going to send the idoc to SAP, "does not Know" the SAP shipment number,TMS only "Knows" his own shipment number that will be stored in the SAP shipment at header level, so the external shipment number will have to be included in the inbound idoc in order to find and update the correct shipment.
In this link, they say that you can use only Idocs fields EXTI1, EXTI2, TKNUM to store the external shipment number for the identification: http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_03/helpdata/en/fd/94c95360267214e10000000a174cb4/frameset.htm
But we have to use the idoc field TNDR_TRKID ( that is "FA tracking ID" field in the SAP shipment), could be posible? which are the segments that we need to use to do this?
2) Once the shipment is created, is it posible to add more deliveries? which are the segments that we need to use? In our tests we found that if the status planning in the shipment is set (Deadline Tab), we cann´t add more deliveries, so, if the planning status is set, is there any way to remove the planning status with an idoc? which segments?
3) External TMS needs to execute the leg determination (Leg determination button in Stages Tab), which are the segments that we need to use to do this?
