Hi All,

The number of parameters shown in RZ10 is much less than shown in program RSPFPAR. Can anybody tell me where to set the extra parameters?

Thanks + Best Regards

Jerome

Hi,

If you want to see all parameters in RZ10 means.Go to RZ10 t-code and fallow the below steps.

goto->profiles values->of a server click on server name here you can find active values and default values.

Active values means what we are using at present in the system.

In rz10\rz11 we can set the parametrs. If you change in rz10 you need to restart the sap system. In rz11 no need to restart the system.

i hope it will help you.

Hi Kiran,

Just want to confirm: is it true that not all of the entries shown by "goto->profiles values->of a server" is required to be given a value in the profiles on operating system's file system?

Best Regards

Yes, you need to give values for all the parameters which you have set.

Thanks,

Anand.

Hi,

In addition to what is already replied you can also get into the instance profile file at OS level under SYS\profile and add the required parameter which you want and then save and restart the system.

Hi Jerome,

With the report RSPFPAR, you can see the list of already available parameters in the R3 system. The parameters that you are seeing in RZ10 are mandatory and basic settings.

if you want to add a new parameter which is displayed in the report RSPFPAR then, go to RZ10> select the profile> go to extended maintanence --> click change option and create by giving the exact profile name.

By this you can add new parameters to the profiles.

Hope this clears your query.

Vinodh.
