Fire Fighter ID Description

Hello Everybody

whenyou enter a request for a fire fighter ID there is a section where you can see the list of FF ID's to select and submit for approval.

seebelow.

whenthe request has been previously provisioned there is a description which says "Provisioned through CUP for request number xx".

whenthe FF access has been expired the message should logically goaway butit still shows up when you request a new FF ID which is misleading as you never know whether the ID is currently being used or not. If I delete the association of the FF ID and the FF user then the description is cleared.

Is there a way to clear the description when the FF id is expired?

Hello Rahul,

FF description updates by program Program GRAC_EAM_MAINTAIN_FFOBJ_DESCR

and parameter id 4017 which is maintained in configuration settings

I assume don't have such option which you are looking.

Thanks Baithi. theinformation helps, but the parameter will turn off description for good. This is worse as the requestor will never know if the FF ID is available or not. The requirement is to clear the description automatically when the FF ID is expired. I don't believe there is a Parameter or a job we can run nightly to clear this description after the expiration of the FF ID.

I am curious to know how some clients are dealing with this scenario?

Could you elaborate the paramater and note, as i do not find it in my release.
