Reverse Engineering DB Truncating Object Names

I am reverse engineering from Teradata v15 database using PowerDesigner v15.2. Although I have a custom Teradata .xdb file with modified Maxlen object properties extended to 128, PowerDesigner is still limiting the length of tables and columns to 30 characters. How can I fix this? Any assistance would be much appreciated!

When you look at the column code length in model options, what value does it show? If it's shorter than 128, that'll be the cause.

Thanks for the reply George. The model options show a table and column code length of 128, same as the .xdb.

This is probably a long shot, but how long are the column names?

Check each type of object's name and code length under the Model Options/Naming Convention again.

The 'Maximum Length' is set somewhere and takes precedence over the .xdb definition.

Thanks Chris. I checked all the object lengths in the model options and they are set to 128, the same as the .xdb. For reverse engineering, doesn't this have to come from the .xdb since a new model is created?

The column lengths vary, but some are as long as 45 characters.
