Accessing HTTP destination in HTML5 Application - HCP

Hello All,

Can anybody let me know how to access the HTTP destination(Created using HANA cloud connector) in HTML5 application developed/deployed from SPA webIDE in HANA cloud platform.

Note: The UI5 application developed in WebIDE will not be deployed to gateway/back end, it will be deployed to HANA cloud platform.

In this case how to access the backend odata services from the application running in HANA cloud platform without deploying to gateway/backend rather deploying to hana cloud.

Thanks,

Hello Rumeshbabu,

in case you are the only user you can use basic authentication for test reasons. In case of basic authentication you can enter your backend user name and password in the HCP destination.

But of course that is no valid construct in case several people use the destination for development/test and also not for production scenarios.

Here are different options possible:

- Principal Propagation: SAP HANA Cloud Platform

- Propagation via Kerberos: SAP HANA Cloud Platform

- OnPremise User Stores: SAP HANA Cloud Platform

- ...

Just have a look to the documentations.

Best Regards,

Florian
