Does SAP HCI replaces SAP PI? IS SAP HCI is a seperate tool like SAP PI

Just want to ask whether the sap hana cloud integration replaces SAP Process Integration.

Hi Naveed,

As Raughuraman SAP HCI is a cloud tool, the SAP HCI is useful when the company doesn't want to invest in hardware installations and basis team to maintain a SAP machine. Right now SAP PI is more powerful in different connectivities that SAP HCI, therefore SAP HCI is not a real substitute to SAP PI, it is a new integration tool for specific cases that it is not necessary all the possible scenarios that SAP PI can offer.
