How to change/update a System Database host in SLD?

Hi guys

Recently a customer performed a hardware migration of their ERP from distributed to a Central Instance

Previous hosts were Database sa04p and App Server sa03p; current central instance server is sa03p

Therefore, PI SLD is displaying incorrect information

Should I re-registrate TEP (ERP PRD) system again via RZ70 or change manually in PI SLD?

My main concern is that re-registering TEP system again would cause a duplicated entry.

Also, by deleting original TEP entry and re-registering again, would cause any disruption in PI Operation?

Business System Tab, shows older server, which should be replaced with new one. Actual SLD update job is stopped to avoid any potential issue

We will proceed re-registering the system.

Hi ,

You can re-register in RZ70 tcode , then check sldapicust tcode in your source system where it is pointing .

Once all the above performed , check the entries  of RFC , SLDAPI , SLD_UC , SLD_NUC .

It should be changed for RFC while chaning in sldapicust  still you can verify.

you can re-register via RZ70, it will create as new entry with new database details. after that you can manually change the business system details by choosing the change option.
