Max Number of items

We currently have 15,000 items in our Master Item Data, but are a distributor of multiple manufactures. Some have close to 300,000 items on their list. We use exception processes too often because we are uncertain of we want in the system. If we upload 1,500,000 items how big of an impact would it have to our system?

Hi,

Yes, it will affect system performance if you import 150000 items at time. Better split multiple files (for example 10,000 per file) and then try to import via DTW.

Also import during when users are not connected to SAP B1.

Thank you.

Hi,

As Luis Mendez has suggested, performance issues may occur when you are doing queries for reporting purposes.

Best,

Paul.

i suggest upload this by parts, DTW crash when quantity is really high. For the limmit i think there´s no problem but your system performance will decrease in some consults and searchs.

DWT is a bad idea. I suggest u to use DI to load.

Dont enable adding new items to all warehouses options.

No experience on such huge item master. Good luck and keep us posted on your journey.
