Carry forward of Financial year balance

Dear Colleagues

We are facing a issue in carry forward of Retained earnings in  SAP balances for one Financial Year.

Carry forward of the first year of the retained earnings was not done, whereas we have carried forward the second year retained earnings.

In this case following was observed

a. The Profit or Loss for the current year got transferred but the profit or loss for the previous year or the initial year is not getting is transferred.

The Current year TB in F.01 shows exactly the amount as difference as the same as appearing in the Retained earnings for the first year.

Please suggest how to resolve this issue...

Hello,

I think there is no harm to execute balance carry forward programme multiple times.

Means, if you forgot to do it for last year, you can do it now for previous year. Afterwards execute the programme again for current year.
