BODS batch job dependency on SAP jobs

Hi,

I'm using a BW extractor (2LIS_13_VDITM) to pull the data from ECC and load to EDW(oracle).

I would like to know if there is a way in BODS to have these jobs scheduled dependent on the SAP jobs. In this scenario i would like to extract the data from the extractor only when the job in SAP completes loading data to extractor.

Anybody tried this before? Your replies would help.

If I am correct informed, you could trigger DS jobs from BW process chains. So you should be able to attache the DS job behind your SAP job.

Another way could be the BOE Platform, if you license this. On the platform you could use additional events.

Personal I would try / prefer the first way.

No we can't create track the ECC status automate and only thing you can do just setup BODS schedule once ECC job completes. ( By putting 1 or 2 hrs in Buffer so that it wont create any discrepancy )

If it is in BW, we can automate that through Process chain.
