Crystal Report with Dynamic Parameters

Hi All,

Crystal Report 2013 Built on  SAP Bex Query  in SAP BO 4.1 SP05 environment.

To Achieve Dynamic Parameters for Crystal report we are using text file connection in the same crystal  report with Bex Query and assigning Crystal Parameter with text file values.

Issue is when saving report to Launchpad the error is displayed as shown and report is not getting saved.

Any help  in resolving the issue Please.

Hi Santosh,

With BEx query being the source, you should create a 'variable' in the BEx query. CR should see this as a parameter and when the report is published to the Enterprise via the BW Publisher, the list becomes dynamic.

The client  is not using BW Publisher, I am not sure why .

so we are trying  to  get dynamic list of values from text file which is generated using Open Hub.

I've never seen someone try this before, so I can't say for certain if this would work.
