MDM Patch Upgrade

Dear All,

Are there any risks which we should consider before doing MDM patch upgrade ?

We will be taking backup of system and archive of repositories but is the through testing of CE applications using MDM required ?

Please suggest.

Dear Ranjeet,

If it is a Patch Upgrade within the same Service Pack, then thorough testing is not required. Just check the Points relevant for that Service Pack and perform the specific testing.

But if the upgrade is from lower SP to higher SP, then at least basic functionality for End To end Scenario should be tested, so as to eliminate any cosmetic changes which are required in the Production system.
