Adobe Forms error: Could not start Layout Designer

Hello,

Getting the error "Could not start Layout Designer" when I click on the Layout tab of a form in transaction SFP.

Installation of Adobe LiveCycle Designer is also not working. When I try to install the Adobe LiveCycle Designer from SAP Service marketplace, I get the following message:

This SAP Front End patch cannot be applied. Either the installed components are already on the same patchlevel or the components to be patched are not installed.

Adobe LiveCycle Designer 10.4 Patch

Patchlevel 2

The GUI details are:  

Release: 740 Final Release

File Version: 7400.1.2.1100

Patch Level: 2

Not sure what's missing? Could the experts please guide?

Hi KK,

If you are not able to to open the layout then it will  ADS(Adobe Life cycle designer) problem.

For Adobe forms  development  ADS must be configured in your system.Try to install  ADS version 8.0.

it may work.
