Can a single operation mapping be used for two synchronous service operations

Hi,

I am using SAP PI 7.4. I have created a single service interface containing two synchronous service operations where messages are taken from two different wsdls. Will a single operation mapping work for it?

Hello Dilraj,

Yes..in operation mapping select read operations and give the mapping details for both the operations.

Are you trying to achieve multimapping?

Hello Dilraj,

Yes, such a configuration is definitely possible.

However, please note the following:

1. Sending system/source will just get a response and there will be no data in response in cases where you have QOS as Best Efforts or in case where you have QOS as Exactly Once and you have Response being used as Channel in Message Transform Bean with ResponseOneWay Bean being used.

(If you note for this reason in the response message you wont have target payload).

2. In case where you have in MTB different service interface being used, you will get a data at the response end.

Regards,

Souvik
