Blank Screen - Objects get locked

Hello

When I am using the UI applications, sometimes the next step screen does not load and is blank.

When you re-open the application, you find it locked.

I know how to unlock and continue, but is there a way to avoid these blank screens?

If you have an old IE version (version 😎 it could have to do with your zoom factor. See Note:

1530264 - Zooming factor <> 100% causes IE8 to freeze on
WIN7

Probably it is UI rendering issue. Check whether the latest patches have been applied.

Hi Mustafa,

One reason for UI getting blank is hopefully created adaptation at UI based on BRF+ table steps.

If in case, you have done any deep copy(Custom UI) in UI, you need to check the below points.

1. MDG IMG-->Procesing modeling--->Business Activities -->Link Log. Actions with UI Application and Bus. Activity: Custom Definition and Link Logical Actions with Business Activity: Custom Definition.

It is momentarily blank screen, when I close and relaunch, it comes back.

Probably what Kiran is suggesting, could be something to do with IE.

Was checking if anyone else experienced it.

Please specify more details. Which UIBB. What exactly you are doing?

It is not just to do with a particular UIBB.

It happens across various UI applications like while I selected to Create a CR, when selecting a BRF+ RBW decision table to edit or While creating BRF+ Validations.

If you get a blank screen then its not MDG issue. Check the settings for IE.
