Hide dependent characteristics in SAP DMS until the required conditions are met

Hi Guru's,

Here is my question and I'm not sure if it's possible. I have the following scenario:

So as you can see the project status box is the main characteristic and I have it configured so that if I select cancel, the box 2 and box 3 disappear. Is there a way to configure it so that they start out not showing up, and then if Project Status EQ 'Cancel' then those two boxes appear?

I'm not sure if that's possible but any help would be appreciated.

I don't think what you are looking for can be done just by changing configuration, as i can see these are the standard fields, screen and transaction.

If you have custom transaction your ABAP team can help you create screen with such logic.

But as you want to hide or display fields based upon selection of value you may a need a custom code.
