Planning : Copy source requirement type to target requirement type

Hello,

Is it possible to copy a plan created using a particular requirement type ex: A to a different requirement type ex B.

Using MS64 it is possible to copy a source version to a new target version along with all the planning information, I am looking for something similar but difference is that I want to copy requirement type and not versions.

Best Regards,

Ameya B.

Hello,

Why do you want to change the requirement type? It could create the inconsistency.

You can have the same version number for a material if they have different requirement types. Therefore, on transaction MD62 you can have it.

Hello Rupesh,

Thanks for your response !

No I do not want to change the requirement type, I want to copy the master plan from a requirement type to another, like you can copy versions using MS64.

I have defined multiple requirement types, with similar setup.

Best Regards,

Hello.

Copying planned independent requirements versions (Transaction MS64 and MD61 with reference).

Or Manually change the requirements type or version of a planned independent requirements item in Transaction MD61, MD62.

Or  you can use MD70.

Best Regards.
