Send test message from Runtime Workbench fails because..

Hi,

on a new 7.31 PI we want to use the test message send tool.

Seems there is a change to a new view with more functions.

And this is the issue:

The new screen contains now mandatory select listings of available objects for each field (enhanced input help).

But... the select boxes do not contain each of our interface objects.
We did not check all but especially the interface list is not complete. Most of the IDOCs e.g. are missing.

So we cannot use the test tool for a number of interfaces.

There is a new field "Sender agreement or integrated configuration" that provides some other implementations.

But at the end a number of interfaces is missing.

Any idea what is wrong? Is there something we need to set up additionally now?

Best regards

Dirk

Hi,

deeper analysis shows total confusion.

This is a dual stack system.

The extended help shows for the sender interface field:

- a few IDOCs (3),

- some receiver interfaces(!?), but not the related sender interfaces.

In total the list gives 11 of 41 sender interfaces.

Seems not to be related to existing sender interfaces as I added one for an IDOC sender that did not appear in this list.

Hi Dirk

Are you on single stack or dual stack?

If you are on dual stack, my guess is maybe your sender IDoc scenarios do not have any sender agreement as it is optional in classical dual stack configuration. If this is the case, then you can try to create a sender agreement and sender IDoc channel for one interface and see if it helps.

I can't verify this behavior on my single stack system though.
