Hi,

I am not sure, but this could be the reason that "disp+work.exe" is in yello status.

I have installed Database Manager, but when i am trying to add local database(NSP), it's not displaying any value.

Can any one help me on this.

Thanks & Regards,

Praveer.

Hello,

the disp+work process could not be stared for some  reason. Do you have  a Java stack?  On the picture igs, gwrd, and icm (child processes of dispatcher) are in green state.

Please check, what is written in the dev_disp file?

Thanks and regards, Gabriella Kiss

Hi Gabriella,

Thanks for the response, please find the attached dev_disp file.

I don't have that much of basis or system administrator knowledge, if you could help me on this, it will be really great.

And i have only ABAP stack installed, SAP Netweaver 740.

Thanks & Regards,

Praveer.

If the database log are is full, then connect to the MaxDB database using the database studio or DB Manager and take log backup.

Hi Reagan,

I have tried to take the DB log. But the respective DB is not displaying under local one.

Please find the attached screens.

Is there any other way to add the same, please let me know?

Thanks & Regards,

Hi pravin,

can you run below command and provide us the output.

dbmcli -d NSP -u control,<password> db_state.

also you can login using dbmcli and try to check the auto archive log is on.

you can enable it as below command

login to dbmcli:-

dbmcli -d NSP -u control,<password>

then run

autolog_on <new_logmedium>

you need to define the log medium <new_logmedium> as filesystem or as per your backup strategy

do let us know if you need any further help.

Ram
