SPS upgrade ERP 6 EHP7 to SPS 12 - DVD Mount point

Hi,

I'm in a process of upgrading ERP 6.0 with EHP7 to SPS 12, i have generated stack file and started the upgrade process.

But I'm stuck at initial extraction phase and SUM prompting for DVD mount points.

i have checked the SAP note 2169284 - ABAP components not calculated for NetWeaver 7.4 SP Stack 08/Business Suite 2013 SP06

The stack file contains <dvd caption="SAP NETWEAVER SR2 DVD" id=" c7a45ee0-c49b-11e3-a755-005056a214d6 " type="upgrade"...

I have provided the Kernel and all dvd's as mount in later try. but, its still asking for dvd mount point.

help me with correct DVD and will provide as mount point for SUM during upgrade.

I'm also facing the same issue but SAP doesn't has a sufficient answer.

Would like to know how you solved the Problem.

Hi Burkhard,

Faced the same issue. I checked and fixed the LMDB entry for my system in Product System, there should be a SAP Netweaver 7.4 entry there. Once I have corrected it and re-create my xml file, I didn't encounter the DVD mountpoint portion in SUM.

thanks for your reply.

Actually, I'v fixed it the same way as you've described.

For some circumstances the product System was changed from Netweaver to this other product. I changed it back, created a new MOPZ and all worked fine.

All other answers or recommendations are really not working.

We you able to find solution for your issue above? I am also experiencing it and still unable to proceed because it still asks for DVD even if I already have placed all NW7.4 SR2 media...

Hi Harika,

You need to download the NW740SR2 JAVA software components DVD and upload the same and give in the path.

Below are the DVD:- you need to check and upload.

Also do verify if the SL controller is listed in Kernel DVD as this will be required as part of the upgrade components.

Do refer RIN oss note for getting the right Business suite DVD as per 2169284 - ABAP components not calculated for NetWeaver 7.4 SP Stack 08/Business Suite 2013 SP06 you need to have a NW740SR2 DVD which has below stack level

NetWeaver 7.40 (BASIS 7.40, ABA 7.40, BW 7.40) for Business Suite 2013

Hi Harika,

Please download the upgrade export DVDs(which comes as multiple DVDs), kernel DVD and language DVDs from service market place and refer the note 886535 - Downloading multispanning archives (RAR archive) for information about how to make it a single DVD.

Then try to give the mount points and continue in SUM.
