The PB 12 Classic help files are in the old WinHelp format, which is not supported in Windows 10.  anyone have any suggestions to get around that?

Hi Terry,

As of 2 weeks ago, Microsoft Tech Support has informed us that there is not a winhlp32.exe program available for Windows 10 yet.  In fact, they eluded to one not forth coming anytime soon if at all.  Each version of winhlp32.exe is operating system dependent and they would like it to go away and have been trying since Windows Vista.

There are a few hacks you can use to get older versions to work on Windows 10.  We tried one of them and so far it appears solid.

Go to this site and look at the thread by Allan Cop (9 Aug 2015):

Hi Terry;

  FYI: PB Classic versions 12.5.x and 12.6 help files are in the new format and work well on W10. Only PB Classic v12.x uses the old outdated Win32 help format. So if you upgrade to a supported version of PB Classic you will be OK.

HTH
