CUA Synch not working

CUA - LDAP Synchronization problem:

Our LDAP Server mapping and synch have been setup. RSLDAPSYNC_USER creates new user records in our CUA client from our LDAP system if the user does not exist. (Create in database is selected, and works).

However, synchronization is not working. For example if I change an email address or an Active Directory user, then run RSLDAPSYNC_USER, the email address does not synch. SU01 displays the original email address, and at this point CUA and LDAP email fields are out of sync.

Ive checked the mapping and synch fields, and also have the RSLDAPSYNC_USER options set correctly (ignore time stamp, etc) as far as I can tell.

Any suggestions?
