Hello Kishore,

There seems to be sometimes problems with the SAPOSCOL due to some log files. Try restarting saposcol with -f option.Login as <SID>ADM and execute saposcol -f

This will kill and restart the process and most of the times it solves.

    • Reward points appropriately

Hi Krishna,

This is a kernal version problem. Check your kernal level for any correction available in the service market place.

Note 628811 exactly discuss your problem.

Hello Kishore,

I am sorry I didnot check the log part. Just checked the error message.

One thing is this issue coming recently or is an old issue. I mean was St06 working fine in the past.

One more thing normally SAPOSCOL should be running under user id sapservice<sid> user or <sid>adm. In case of AIX it can be <sid>adm. Eventhough running under root is not an issue at all (it is pretty much fine)I just wanted to know if any change was made to the ownership of SAPOSCOL recently.

Regards.

Ruchit.
