Hi Everyone,

I am new in HCM Payroll. After running the successfully payroll of an employee i am getting below error, and unable to understand from where this is coming.

Please help me on this as Payroll is going on.

No funds center entered/derived in item 00001 (1000/701005000/0001100004)

Hi Anil Agarwal,

In IT0001 Cost center And Fund Center derived from the employee position which belongs to particular Organisation unit, Please check cost center and fund centers are assigned for that employee in IT0001 and in FI terms Cost center controls the things Fund center will used for Funds management.

Please ask your  FI team they can map the fund center to Cost center using derivation rules after that assign the cost center in IT0001 and post the document.

FI team can help you in this regards.

Hi Anil,

As per my knowledge, this error is related to "FI/CO".

Kindly check with your FI team they can help you in this regard.

Normally, That's a standard message from funds management. FI/CO team have to either defined fund centre in the master data of your RE object (e.g. contract) or define a derivation strategy in FMDERIVE which will derive fund centre based on certain rules.
