Multisource Universe Non-equi Join

Hi,

In BO 4.1 multi source universe using teradata, I have a non equi join between two teradata tables calendar.caldt>fact.startdate ,when i include objects from calendar and fact table and execute the report with prompt for 1 month query runs forever.

I could see the query in view script and execute same query in teradata sql tool successfully, but the query which hits the database when running the BO report is going to idle state.

How to resolve non-equi join issue in multi source universe ?

Hi,

Check how many queries are running in the Data Federation Admin tool.If some are running for long time then cancel all queries & restart the Adpative processing server and try.

Amit,

We could execute other queries successfully from the same multi source universe except the queries involving tables with non-equi join.

Query is running fine if i change to equi join. issue is specific with non-equi join in multi source universe.
