Change in order quantity-But subsequent documents are under process


I have a requirement.

Customer initially places the order,X-10 qty.

Delivery is created for 10 Qty.Every morning ware house runs VL06P

The Overall picking status is C-Fully picked,Overall Wm Status is B.

Now customer over phone calls and changes the order quantity to 8.He wants only 8 qty.

But in the subsequent delivery there is 10 qty,were picking is complete and picking confirmation is made. PGI can be done for 10 qty.

Because warehouse staff is not aware about change in order qty.

Is there any possibility to change delivery qty to 8.

I am aware that once picking is initiated,delivery line item becomes grayed out.It cannot be edited.

The only problem is picking and packing status are automated ones. Because through a bar code scanning device picking and picking confirmation is done.The change in sales order qty 8,does not reflect in already created delivery qty in standard process.

But we want it to reflect the change in already created delivery qty.How to achieve it.The ground reality is the client does not want to change it manually through LT0G.They want to make it happen automatically,please guide how to achieve it.

Clients requirement is until goods issue is done,there possibility of change in Order quantity.
