Duplicate user in repository error

I have a user who is getting a PowerDesigner error when trying to log into the repository.  The popup reads "There is already a user that has the name '[his name]' in the repository".  He is the only user with that name.  He recently switched laptops (loaner to permanent) and has the same version (16.5) of PD installed on the new as the old.  I tried removing and re-adding him but he is still getting same error.  Has anyone seen this before/know of a resolution?  Thanks, Marty

Do you have a LDAP server defined ?

That may be due to an uppercase/lowercase issue.
