Permissions to schedule and e-mail Crystal Reports, WEBIs and Publications

Hi all,

is there a list of permissions needed to schedule and e-mail Crystal Reports, WEBIs and Publications via Java Web SDK and the RESTful WebService ?

Hi Alexander,

No special permissions are required for the SDKs.  If a user can schedule these objects in BI Launchpad, then they can also do so when logged in through the SDKs.

The Java SDK will allow you to assign user and group Roles/ Rights as you would in the CMC.  The REST sdk is not as granular and currently does not have the ablility to manage users and group rights or Roles.  Typically the Schedule Role assigned to a user/group is sufficient to allow scheduling of objects they have access to.
