Hello All,

I have weird situation in our production client for program RM06BW30

We have scheduled a batch job for archiving Purchase requisitions with following variant:-

Requisition (request) date        <= 31.12.2003

This has failed.

I have done a test run in Dev client with same variant, and it is working absolutely fine.

In production client when i searched in EBAN table for PR date <= 31.12.2003 system finds some 26000 records but when i manually test run the program in foreground the result shows 30.816 records, but does not archive any.

screen shots attached.

You have an IO error, error message BA024, this is probably because of wrong customizing of paths and logical files.

Hi Jurgen,

I have checked the directory in AL11, seems the directory is ok

/usr/archive**

** is file name withing directory.

Can it be that the folder named archive might be full upto its maximum capacity?

can be.

You can check it yourself from SARA.  Enter your archiving object and go to the Write step. Click the button for archiving directory. It that returns 0 then you either have no capacity or the defined path ends in Nirwana.

Thanks a lot Jurgen, actually the directory has exhausted space capacity.

Thanks for your timely & precious help.
